There was a time when a man without a bank account was stuck. Cash in the pocket, nothing else. Every door wanted a card number or a routing number or a promise from an institution that would rather not know you. So the money sat in the pocket and did nothing but get spent on beer.

PaysafeCard is the way around that. You buy a voucher at a shop, a kiosk, wherever they sell them, and you get a sixteen digit PIN. No bank. No card. The man behind the counter does not know your name and does not want to.

So I took my PIN to paybis and bought Bitcoin with it. Signed up, entered the amount, picked PaysafeCard, put the PIN in, and the coins came to the wallet. Verification took under two minutes when they asked. The fee was on the screen before I confirmed. Five dollars is enough to start, if you are the cautious type.

Regulated in the US, Canada and the EU, running since 2014, fifteen thousand reviews if you count that sort of thing. Your own wallet or their free one.

Cash in, coins out, nobody asked for my life story. In this modern world that is almost a courtesy.
